My name is Maryia. Teaching has always been a part of my professional life. I have many years of experience teaching in different countries, with students of different ages and levels. I am always excited to share my experiences and help students achieve their goals. When selecting the curriculum and the orientation, I always focus on the wishes of the student. A positive and creative atmosphere is a must for every one of my lessons. I also take part in various international competitions in solo music and chamber music. I also took part in various master classes and festivals. I always use my stage experience in my lessons to help students develop and enjoy lessons.

Music studies carried out at the Gonzalo Martín Tenllado professional music conservatory, with classes taught in extracurricular courses by Simon Fisher, Farid Fasla, Alfredo García, Sarah Kapustin, Lucas Ranieri, Sergey Teslya among others... Currently, I am concertmaster in the Málaga Camerata Orchestra, and I actively participate in the OFMAN. I have actively participated in the JOBA, Orbis Symphony Orchestra Sinfosol, JOPMA, Jonomur orchestras. Also a member of the ORBIS quartet. As for my experience: I am a violin teacher at ElCamm, and I have been giving private lessons for more than 5 years. I finished my studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Malaga, with Lorenzo Triviño. The classes are carried out with my own method based on the technique of Galamian and Simon Fischer, as well as the teachings of the great teachers with whom I have worked and my learning experience teaching a great diversity of students, with which I seek the flexibility to adapt to the student.

Mein Name ist Léna Ruisz und ich biete Geigenunterricht für alle Alters- und Leistungsstufen an. Ich verfüge über langjährige Erfahrung im Privatunterricht und schliesse derzeit meinen Master of Pedagogy an der FHNW in Basel ab. Mir gefällt besonders die Dualität des Lernens: eine solide Grundlage zu schaffen und an der Technik zu arbeiten, die schliesslich erlaubt, völlige Freiheit und Freude auf dem Instrument zu erleben. Ich selbst finde die Balance zwischen beidem, indem ich nach den Prinzipien der Alexandertechnik arbeite und auf die Gesundheit des Körpers und die Nachhaltigkeit des Spiels achte. Dies setze ich in meinem Unterricht um; ich finde es sehr wichtig, den Unterricht, die Übungen, die Methode eng auf die Ziele und die Persönlichkeit der SchülerInnen abzustimmen. Ich habe auch einen Master in Violine in alter mensur, den ich an der Schola Cantorum Basiliensis absolviert habe. Alte Musik ist meine andere große Leidenschaft - es besteht also immer die Möglichkeit, die historische Aufführungspraxis kennenzulernen! Nach über 23 Jahren, in denen ich dieses wundervolle Instrument spiele, begeistert mich die Freiheit der Musik immer noch und lässt mich immer weiter machen. Violin learning is the process of discovering one's own voice through the infinite possibilities that this four strings instrument has to offer. From sparkling, intense and rough to pure, kind and crystalline; learning the violin, as many other arts, is about freeing the emotion through the discipline and order of sound and movement. Let me introduce myself. I am Ángeles, an Andalusian in Finland, finishing my master degree in Music Performance at the prestigious Sibelius Academy with great professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. I came to Helsinki two years ago seeking for a personal and cultural growth, with huge passion for music and the need to share it. I discovered in violin teaching a new path to that energy to come true, to materialize, by inspiring and leading enthusiastic students to their best performance. The starting level and goals of the student will determine the direction of the lessons. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I aim to strike a balance as much as possible between teaching technical skills and musicality, as of course there cannot be one without the other when learning an instrument. Lessons are a mixture of teaching and demonstrating correct posture, finger patterns or body movements, and teaching and engaging a learner with rhythm, pitch and melody, and then combining them together. I am a firm believer in tackling one aspect at a time in lessons and gradually combining it with another aspect of playing. I often include activities such as playing a note and asking the student to match my pitch or sound quality, or including musical games that can develop musical memory and rhythm. The most important aspect of learning any instrument is of course the music! Aiming to help a student find music (or if they have ideas they are welcome to bring them along!) that they love and find absorbing - this can be any genre, as long as it has a tune! I have a variety of books of different levels that I can use to help students find styles that are fun and enjoyable for them. There are technical things that need to be worked on in playing any instrument - but of fundamental importance is that the student has a feel for the music they play and a musical idea of what the end goal of any piece is.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
