As a personal tutor, I offer one-on-one lessons in English, Math, and Science for students aged 4-14. My goal is to provide personalized attention and support to help students reach their full potential and achieve academic success. English Tutoring for all age groups, from KS2 all the way up to A-level English Literature. I offer hour long sessions where I can offer sessions which are tailored to the needs of your child, whether this being short and engaging activities or exam preparation activities for a child who is preparing for their exams. After each session I complete a fully detailed report of our session detailing what went well, where we can improve and what we aim to cover in the upcoming sessions! I specialise in English Language and Literature GCSE tutoring and am very familiar with most exam boards and Literature texts. I take a pupil first approach and try center learning around the child’s needs and Interests as I believe this is the best way for engagement! I am a friendly and approachable tutor who is encouraging and is very adaptable to differing levels of knowledge and skill. I believe this helps me greatly in getting to know the students needs and making best use of the time we have together! I also tutor physical education at GCSE and Al-evel where I am particularly knowledgeable as I have recently completed a degree in sports and exercise sciences at Durham. I have also had experience working with SEN students where I have worked with ADHD and dyslexia and have some excellent resources which suit the differing needs of different individuals.

Currently pursuing a BA Drama degree at the University of Manchester, I've studied higher level English under the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and will make you love the language through some fun games and exercises that will rapidly strengthen your fluency of English. Classes will be online and flexible depending on the student's requirements and can be conducted as many times a week as required. The regular structure is 60 minutes per day but this can be adjusted based on the student. Classes will be held online and will be flexible based on the students' requirements. The time period will range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per day and sessions can be scheduled based on the students' needs and urgency. My classes won't be too time consuming or stressful, as my aim is to teach the language but also make the child love the process of learning it. Classes will include fun exercises and games that made learning English a lot more easier and increase the fluency. Since I have studied English at primary, secondary, and an International (IBDP) level, I will make sure to transfer the skills of English writing and speaking proficiency as well as reading and essay writing skills, complemented by several fun conversations in English. Classes will also include getting the student to watch clips of Hollywood movies and reading extracts from novels to increase their language capabilities. By the end of the sessions, students will definitely have learned a significant amount of the language which will keep progressing and getting stronger as we continue our sessions.
