I am an award-winning violinist based in SE London, currently completing my Bachelor degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. My teaching methodology is based on an individual approach to each student. I always try to combine working on technique and basic theoretical knowledge (to understand the music better) with showing the beauty of music. Every student has different needs, therefore I can help with both preparing for various kind of exams or just learning how to play for fun and pleasure. I am a positive and patient person. My goal is for my students to simply enjoy playing. I am heavily experienced at both teaching and performing, very familiar with ABRSM and Trinity exam boards and DBS-checked. Hi I'm Daniel and I've been teaching the violin with passion and dedication since 2010. I've probably taught over a hundred students of all ages, levels and walks of life, from very beginners and children to aspiring professionals and mature enthusiasts — I really enjoy working and interacting with everybody. I've been playing violin since I was six, and was lucky to have amazing teachers and exceptional musicians from Russia, Israel, Poland, and USA, who tutored and mentored me over the years, contributing to my knowledge of almost every possible technique, style, and method of playing of this complex and challenging instrument. I'm also a professional viola player and I could teach it happily as well. My diverse interest, passion, and experience in the musical world has led me to collaborate and perform with some renowned international artists in the classical, pop, folk, klezmer, jazz, and rock genres — some of these names would include Zubin Mehta, Mischa Maisky, Andres Mustonen, Lord of the Dance, Ariel Zilber, Giora Feidman, Omri Mor, Yonatan Razel.

Violin lessons for beginners I can teach you the violin from scratch to professionalism, and this will include teaching musical notation, writing and reading. We can start by learning the principles of music and then gradually move to training on the violin. There will be a special book for teaching.

I graduated with honors from the “Monteverdi” Conservatory in Italy and I hold a Bachelor and Master’s Degree from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, having studied with Prof. Lukas Hagen and Prof. Klara Flieder. I performed all over Europe and in South America with renowned ensembles such as Camerata Salzburg and Munich Chamber Orchestra. I emphasize the development of solid technical skills while nurturing each student’s musical expression and creativity. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

After studying violin and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, Master Classes with Dorothy DeLay, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, as well as other Juilliard teachers and studies with Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy over twenty years of teaching violin, viola and piano students. I am currently teaching in Central Florida as well as online through my Unique Musicality curriculum business. My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras. I currently teach lessons as well as providing master classes for select students and organizations. For the past two summers, I was a coach and performer at the Assisi Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival in Assisi, Italy. I have also been a judge in various Youth Symphony competitions as well as civic organizations that hold music competitions, such as the Kiwanis Club Arts and Music competition. My students have achieved entrance into summer conservatory programs including Peabody’s Music Summer Camp, Emory University’s Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, Franklin Pond Summer Intensive Chamber music program, Assisi Italy Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival, as well as continuing their college studies at Music Schools and Conservatories.
