Electric/Acoustic Guitar Lessons From Beginner to Advanced

Using jazz music as my specialism, I am able to teach even the most technically challenging concepts in their most basic forms and transfer them to the guitar in their most simple terms. I have taught the guitar, music theory and GCSE and A-Level Music syllabuses for six years to students of all ages and abilities and across every imaginable genre.

Guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer with 20 years of experience. I started to study guitar in 2002. After 6 months I started playing live music. I began to teach guitar in 2018, in London. I am specialized in beginners and children. You can choose online lessons (Skype, Zoom, FaceTime), or lessons at your home, in London. I can teach in Italian and in English. In the lessons the main lines of study are: - technique exercises to make your hands stronger; - songs suggested by me and songs that you like; - music theory. I try to communicate my passion for music, especially to the children, without forgetting to have fun. My name is Armin and I'm a composer, songwriter, sound engineer and of course guitar player graduated from Brunel University in 2011 (MA). Since then I have worked with so many students; from age 5 to adults. I have also worked with young musicians in groups and lead their ensemble to reach their highest potentials. I teach acoustic/electric and nylon strings guitar in variety of styles. The goal is to help you to find what is best for you. I have many students successfully passed both ABRSM and Trinity College grades. Let's get into some detail of what you can expect from our lessons. - You will develop the complete understanding of how the instrument is working and learn all the notes on the fretboard. - You will learn how to read music (notation/tableture/chord diagrams) - Your understanding of the chords will improve quickly so you can play your favourite songs within 2 months. - We will go through basics of Music theory in order to give you a better understanding of what you are playing on the guitar. I have also worked with so many great musicians and performed in well-known venues such as Jazz Cafe and 100 Club in London as well as recording for tv channels including BBC. In this class we will cover everything from the first instance of picking up a guitar, to learning your favourite songs. If you already have some experience with the instrument, then we will look into more technical development and also expand on your understanding of previous concepts/experience. I'm an internationally award-winning composer, creative director and producer, lecturer and researcher, teaching GCSE (all exam boards), A-level (all exam boards), piano, composition, theory, aural, history, orchestration, and undergraduate/postgraduate degree courses/modules. Together, we will learn the basics of playing the guitar and the basics of music in a modern, fun and comfortable way, remotely (online) or at home (only in England). And this will be done by dealing with the famous songs, whether they are in the blues, reggae or pop, and analyzing them and extracting the skills, techniques and musical theories based on them. The songs are chosen according to the student's desire and are suitable for his level.

I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

I've been teaching piano around 14 years, specialising on ABRSM exam tutoring for 12 years ,helping my pupils achieve various levels of piano playing. This class can be delivered in English and Chinese. Apart from solo piano tutoring ,I am also an accompanist for piano duo , trio and quartet.
