I am a student of TEW at the KULeuven and would like to offer my services to high school students who could use some help outside of school hours. Together with my students, I look for the right study approach to fully understand the courses and I try to present the subject matter in a different way so that my students gain more insight into the subject matter. I myself graduated from the Sint-Albertuscollege in Haasrode with a degree in science mathematics (6 hours) and I was raised perfectly bilingual (Dutch-French). I have several years of experience with tutoring, both to children in the 2nd year of high school and to children who are at the end of their high school and will soon be making the transition to further studies. I lived in the USA twice, as an exchange Student at MIT for a year and as a J1 worker at McDonald's for 3 months. I scored 103 and 112 in the two times I did the TOEFL exam, and I scored at the 99% math percentile in my GRE score. I was born in Brazil, and I am a native Portuguese speaker. I have lived in Leuven for five years, so we can communicate in basic Dutch.

As a native English speaking American, I aim to improve my student's breadth of grammar and understanding of the English language through one-on-one and group lessons, advancing from any level. Having spent all my life in the United States, I also can train my students on the American vernacular and culture. I have a minor in English Literature from a college in Chicago.
