By this class I would like to immerse you into Basic Italian language and culture. For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. I will cover main functional areas of Italian grammar and vocabulary within different areas and will make sure that you start speaking since the first class already, since Practice Makes Perfect and Italian is not so difficult as it may seem at first! The goals, needs, expectations will be discussed in person with every student and adapted towards personality. The program and classes content will also depend on the prior mentioned factors. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!
