As a math teacher, I offer private lessons in science subjects. My classes are mainly aimed at cycle and college students in Geneva, as well as students from private schools. I can also help people who have already finished their schooling but who need to upgrade their knowledge for professional needs. I am generally available within 3 days of your request and I move around the canton of Geneva using public transport (TPG). Travel costs are included in my rates. For a long-term follow-up, I can give you exercises to do between sessions and correct them at home. I speak and understand English, but my lessons will be mainly in French. I am ready to adapt my teaching according to your specific needs and to provide personalized support to help you progress in scientific subjects. As an experienced teacher in the orientation cycle, I am enthusiastic about helping students organize their work by developing different learning methods. The objective of this course is to provide a pleasant environment for students who are having difficulty at school, in order to strengthen their self-confidence and encourage them to come regularly and see their progress. The student in difficulty needs to be accompanied in the management of his homework and his learning before being able to gain autonomy. By acquiring an organized working method and using different learning techniques, he will be able to find more fulfillment in his work. I have experience in teaching and support classes, I appreciate the contact with the students, especially their smiles when they regain their self-confidence and feel capable of progressing. I hold British and French nationalities and speak both languages (and Spanish). I am specialised in teaching French as a foreign language (literature and grammar). I am a very adaptable and enthusiastic person. I have a TEFLA certificate (for teaching English) and a CEFLE certificate (for teaching French). I have worked in different organisations, such as the Alliance Française (Cusco, Peru), ARA ( Geneva) and given private lessons to adults, adolescents and children. Hello, I am 18 years old and in June 2021 I obtained my certificate of maturity in gymnasium, bilingual English option, specific option in physics and mathematics applications. I give private lessons in mathematics, physics, French, German, English, chemistry, ... to students ranging from primary level to college (3rd year).

My goal is to help the student to progress in the subjects which pose a problem to him by insisting on the obstacles which he meets. I am used to working with children, having myself a 9-year-old little brother, nevertheless my level is quite suitable for more mature students I know how to adapt to the needs of the student and rely mainly on books or documents from my own courses or elsewhere, and which I find to be very effective for anyone with difficulties in German, English or French. Student in 3rd year of college, I give mathematics classes for students from primary to secondary school. For the course of 1h: I will take the time to do a summary for 15-20 min and the rest will be exercises. An effective method that will help to understand the theory and reinforce it with practice. I will also put tests in situation so that the student can manage his stress. I am very patient and pedagogue, and will only get personal satisfaction once the student understands everything.

I can teach one, two, or three students. I can explain grammar very well. I offer very interesting conversation classes. I can give preparation classes to standardized tests. The classes will need that students come motivated to learn. They should also be willing to practice English outside the classroom.
