How are you doing? Comment allez-vous? Nasılsınız?
Thanks for having a look at my profile!
Here is the pathway we will follow in our lessons!
We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.

"Online Turkish Lessons with a Guaranteed Speaking Practice with a Turkish Teacher 🤓 / Over 6 Years of Experience 👨💻 / Easy Learning MetHello, my name is Yunus. I'm Turkish and live in Izmir. I can't wait to learn Turkish with you.🤗 I love teaching Turkish. If you want, I would like to briefly tell you how we can learn Turkish.🤓 First, in our first lesson, we determine your level together📝 and start our lessons suitable for your level. Our lessons include reading📕, writing✏️, listening🧏🏽♀️, and speaking🗣️. I want you to read and translate reading passages in the reading section. Here, we write down and memorize the new words and verbs we learn.🧠 Then, after listening to a text related to our topic, I want you to explain in Turkish what you understood. Of course, understanding the texts might be a bit difficult at first, but we overcome this and learn together. 💪Then, we come to the most fun part, of course, the speaking part. In this part, we talk about the texts we have read and listened to before. Of course, we try to use new words and verbs more. I love people who talk a lot in my classes. It's not a problem even if it gives me a bit of a headache🤕😁 As long as you learn🙏❤️. And finally, I give you a writing assignment related to the topic and eagerly await our next lesson. Also, you can contact me anytime outside of class.📲 I look forward to having you in my class and getting to know you and learning Turkish together. Take care.👋🏾
Saer
30 Hours Learning & Speaking program (Formal, Levantine, Gulf)Hello everyone,
I'm Thaer, a specialized teacher in Arabic (Formal, Levantine, Gulf) & Turkish language.
With over 10 years of experience teaching Arabic in Lebanon, Turkey and UAE, I've helped NGOs, journalists, and embassy staff swiftly grasp the language for effective local interaction and business. Additionally, I've supported young learners in understanding Arabic's structure, laying a strong foundation.
Most common questions I receive:
What dialects do you teach?
I teach Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) in addition to Levantine and Gulf dialects.
Which one should I choose?
It depends on your needs. If you are solely interested in speaking, then I recommend Levantine or Gulf dialects. If you aim to master Arabic comprehensively, then Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) would be more suitable.
What is the 30-hour program?
The 30-hour program is designed to help you achieve conversational fluency and effectively express yourself and your needs.
What comes after the 30 hours?
If you are enrolled in the Dialects course, we will continue refining your speaking skills and expanding your vocabulary during lessons. Additionally, new words will be introduced during conversation sessions to aid in memorization and usage within sentences. For those on the Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) track, we will delve deeper into grammar and further develop your understanding of the language.
How many hours a week do you recommend?
I recommend 2 to 3 sessions per week.
Can I learn Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) and one of the dialects simultaneously?
Yes, you can take 2 lessons in Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) and 1 lesson in a dialect concurrently, as many of my students do.

Hatice
LEARNING TURKISH IS EASY AND FUN WITH A PROFESSIONAL TEACHERHi, I am Hatice from Istanbul.
I HAVE BEEN TEACHİNG ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE FOR 25 YEARS.
I am a native speaker of Turkish and was born in Istanbul.
I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty.
While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in.
I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. I am a person who likes less traveled roads and back streets. Traveling around the world and reading on the areas of spirituality, philosophy, psychology, and literature are my number one hobbies. I lived and worked in London, Toronto, and S. Korea. Living as an expat and learning several languages have helped me having sympathy with my students. Motivation, feeling relaxed and setting realistic targets, in the beginning, are usually the first thing to go.
As for my formal education, I studied Economics, International Relations, Western Philosophy, and American language and literature at the university (MA and BA). And after my 40 years old, I learned classical Arabic and Persian and started to study Islamic spirituality at the doctorate level. I taught English at Prep. school at Istanbul Technical University and Yeditepe University and am retired. Ever since I could remember I have been a teacher. Now I only teach Turkish privately and translate classical novels from English to Turkish. I translated 12 books from English to Turkish.
I teach Turkish that is tailored for each student. Each student is unique for me and I know that every student has her/his own way of learning.
If you are a beginner I give a short lecture about the history of Turkish and its characteristics and help you find your way in this very logical, consistent and elegant language. You understand that Turkish is different but that does not necessarily mean difficulty.
From the first lesson, you start speaking Turkish and find yourself in a dialogue.
I can teach at my place and your place (all around Istanbul).
I use several books using a grammar-based approach integrated with communicative methods to boost the development of all language skills. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. It is essential to get direct pleasure from what you have learned. My aim is to motivate and inspire you to speak Turkish ignoring minor mistakes and without thinking grammar.
I try to keep in contact with my students almost every day through whatsapp and email. And start some short dialogues.

Başak
Talk and Understand Turkish easily and well with Başak who is an Experienced and Patient Teacher for Adults and Kids-Online/In-Person LessonI was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student.
I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar.
I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University.
A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time.
My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more enjoyable, and more practical for my students.
I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar.
If you want to speak Turkish well, please get in touch with me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!
