Trombone lessons are focused on working at basic techniques along with carefully selected repertoire in accordance with students’ aims and preferences. In his teaching, Konstantin specializes mainly in classical trombone repertoire, and could also give a piece of advice about jazz and commercial playing. To get the most out of studying with Konstantin it is recommended not only to practice the instrument and to attend lessons consistently but also to be a real fan of trombone and orchestral music. It is a highly-rewarding process, and the more one invests in their education, the more joy they obtain from listening to music and playing the trombone.

The course is intended for beginners or false beginners, with as primary objectives the development of position, ear, groove and music theory (if desired, not required) through the analysis of musical pieces of all styles ( at the student's choice + some indispensable ones) and progressive and fun exercises. No worries: speed, density and difficulty of the lessons and exercises modulated according to the pupil, in order to preserve the only element really essential to the learning of an instrument: the pleasure to play!

Cours de saxophone classique et jazz: My motivation in teaching is to help a student learn the fundamental technique of saxophone performance so they can develop their ow creativity, voice and passion on the saxophone. My hope is to start a student on a life long journey exploring music as art in all its different manifestations, whether performance, composition, etc. I have specialised in classical/contemporary saxophone, however I am still a student myself pursing learning jazz. I am open to all types of musical styles and will adapt my teaching and lessons to what you as a student are interested in. I have a passion for improvising and unleashing a students own creativity.

J'ai un Master en Lettres classiques obtenu en Italie (Università di Pavia) avec la note: 110/110 cum laude. Après mon Master j'ai tout suite passé le concours en France pour décrocher un contrat doctoral et maintenant je suis en thèse en Lettres classiques. Il y a désormais 10 ans que je tiens cours particuliers, surtout de soutien scolaire et depuis l'année dernière j'ai eu la possibilité de tenir des cours universitaires aussi. J'ai toujours eu beaucoup de satisfactions de mes élèves: au niveau du lycée ils ont tous obtenu de bonnes notes (même si, parfois, ils partaient de situations "difficiles"). Au niveau universitaire c’était la même chose: tous mes élèves ont réussi l'examen! Depuis 4 ans je suis prof de Latin en secondaire à Bruxelles: je connais très bien le terrain et les soucis des élèves!

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. Hello, My name is Giorgia. I offer private lessons in Latin and Greek to those who want to improve their translation skills in classical languages. I have been dedicated to translating classical languages for over 25 years and offering private lessons for over 20 years. I have extensive experience in classical languages and literature. In fact, I attended the "liceo classico" in Italy, a country whose centuries-old philological tradition requires students on this course to acquire a solid competence in translation from Latin and Greek, as well as a broad knowledge of classical literature, by devoting nine hours a week to the study of classical languages, for the entire duration of the five-year course. I began teaching classical languages during my university years, while also studying other humanistic disciplines, such as philosophy and literature. In fact, I hold an Italian doctorate in philosophy and am currently completing an American PhD in comparative literature. I have never stopped offering private lessons in Latin and Greek. My translation method, tested over twenty years of experience which have confirmed its effectiveness, aims to enable students to acquire mastery of a rigorous translation technique based on the recognition of the quasi-scientific "accuracy" of classical languages and which, once acquired, limits the possibility of making translation errors to almost zero. This technique is based on respect for the syntactic structure of Greek and Latin sentences and on a careful examination of the arrangement of the linguistic elements which constitute them. By teaching mastery of the different stages of analysis of the Latin and/or Greek sentence, the translation technique that I propose allows the student to: - speed up translation time - limit concerns related to the apparent incomprehensibility of classical texts - strengthen knowledge of Latin and/or Greek grammar - acquire the correct method of searching for words in the dictionary - benefit from increasing familiarity in constructing the general meaning of the text to be translated - broaden one's knowledge of the classical cultures which are the basis of our humanist culture. This technique is aimed at all students who wish to master translation, also to succeed in the Latin and Greek exams for the Agrégation and CAPES competitions in Modern and Classical Literature, and at those who wish to cultivate this study in order to better understand our humanist culture which has its roots in classical literature.
