I teach every little thing a guitarist should know, like the correct hand techniques, reading music, and music theory (in a very practical way). And can teach all styles, all guitars and all levels. But most of all, my biggest passion and mission in life is to help you to be more creative and expressive. And the guitar is the best way to achieve it, of course. I encourage all my students to write music, improvise, and find their own path, voice, and sound on the guitar. Creating music is not only really fun, but it’s also the most valuable way to learn guitar and understand music on a deeper level. My current guitar students range from complete beginners to advanced guitarists. They want to embrace the joy of music in their lives and unlock their creative potential by improvising, songwriting, and music composing. Some of them work towards their diplomas and concerts, and I’m happy to support them along the journey and get great results. I believe that there are many paths to learning guitar, and I accommodate and design a plan according to your individual goals and needs. In the literature, it’s called “student-led”, and I am firmly convinced that this is the most suitable way to learn.

I give French lessons for beginners and intermediate levels. The courses can consist, according to the needs of the student, of communication and oral techniques, pronunciation or writing. I have an efficient and easy method to help students do their exercises and excel in their classes. Just be serious when learning, and in turn I am your faithful support to succeed in this task. A class consists of 15-20 minutes of textbook grammar that I use or from your course, and the rest of the class is conversation, because for me, a language is meant to be used, not just studied. We don't just review your homework; if you want to write essays, that's also possible. I teach Dutch to children, adapted to the level of the child, the age and the goals that wish to be achieved. The lessons can be given entirely in Dutch, or with explanations and translations in English where necessary (if the child speaks English). With young children I often use cheerful images, games and songs to learn the language in a playful way. From experience, this also works fine online, via video calls. After completing IB English Lang/Lit HL and receiving 7s in my HL Essays and IO, I am ready to help others achieve their highest potential when it comes to essay writing. In my recent written university work I have received 80+/100 and this grade range is the Highest Distinction. We will begin with a first lesson in order to get to know each other and see whether our goals align. We will discuss what exactly you need help with and make a weekly tutoring schedule. This is especially important when it comes to planning and writing HL essays and IOs. I will provide you with feedback, help you structure your work and read through it with you. I will also set deadlines for the next class that I expect you to meet. Keep in mind I pay great attention to grammar, spelling and overall clarity. IOs can be especially daunting, the idea of speaking for 10 minutes straight in essay format scared me too but I did it and received a 7, and I am here to provide you with tips and advice on how to achieve this. At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
