My name is Natasha and I’m a professional opera singer and a passionate and experienced singing teacher. I teach a classical based technique that can be applied to lots of different genres of music. My main goal in lessons is for my students to have fun and enjoy making music, whilst still challenging them to improve vocally and grow as an artist. I have experience of teaching exam grades, and work with the ABRSM syllabus. My students have a 100% pass rate, with the majority achieving a Merit or Distinction. I teach people of all ages, and particularly specialise in teenagers and young adults.

I'm Sophie, a professional singer and singing teacher, and studied singing at the Royal Northern College of Music and have a 1st Class degree in Music from the University of Manchester. Throughout my professional career and education, I have accumulated several years’ experience as a musical educator to students of all ages and stages. If you are interested in having both singing and piano lessons, you can have an hour lesson comprising of half singing and half piano. I have over 10 years of experience in preparing students for exam grades, and work with the ABRSM syllabus and the Trinity syllabus. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
