Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Tutoring for Highschool students
As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course.
Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions.
As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.

About Me
Hi! I am Carli, nice to meet you :))I am a second year medicine student at the University of Groningen. I am half Italian, quarter German and quarter Dutch, born and raised in the Netherlands. I went to an international school and grew up with many cultures around me.
I enjoy learning new things and have a great passion for science and medical research. Although I am a very interested and hard-working academic student, I have many other interests. I love to dance, play tennis, play piano, read, and travel.
Education
Currently: Second year Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Groningen2023: IBDP (International Baccalaureate) 44/45 points
Biology HL (7), Chemistry HL (7), Physics SL (7), Mathematics AA SL (7), French B HL (7), English A Literature (6)
2021: GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education)
9/9 in 10 subjects
A* in Dutch
Experience / Qualifications
I previously did physics GCSE tutoring and Biology + Chemistry IB tutoring.I am a second year medicine student who also follows in parallel the Junior Scientific Masterclass programme, which develops my research skills.
I am a board member of IFMSA-Groningen, where I volunteer to promote global health.
At my high school, I was a biology ambassador and also leader of the STEM club. Here, I shared my passion for sciences and maths through organising experiments and giving presentations. I was also a student leader, an MUN delegate and leader of a dance club.
I have tutored English to refugees.

A really committed and helpful teacher, who is kind and helpful. Is very well prepared for the lessons and very knowledgeable.
It can be difficult to write essays in perfect English, especially as an international student. There is no need to worry! I can help with that.
Coming from a British School, I speak and write in perfect English. I have a lot of experience in the art of crafting a perfect essay.
If you send me your completed essay, I can thoroughly proofread it for you and correct any grammar and structural mistakes. I can also give you some suggestions on how to make the essay clear and compelling.
I myself am a medicine student, but I have experience in writing essays in many fields. I am therefore ready to help with proofreading essays in any subject. In addition, I can speak five languages fluently (English, Dutch, Italian, German and French) so I can also help with translation.

Chemistry tutoring vmbo, havo and vwo / tutoring in chemistry for middle and high school students*ENGLISH BELOW*
Hello! My name is Sanne (23) and as a master student in Molecular Life Sciences I have a great passion for biochemistry. I have several years of experience and have helped more than 20 students with various science subjects. I offer tutoring for the subject of chemistry. Whether you need help with a specific chapter, or want to follow a broader exam training.
During the tutoring we will mainly work together on assignments and I will support you in the thinking process. In addition to the lessons you will work independently on homework assignments. You will need a calculator and a Binas yourself.
Tutoring in pairs or small groups (for example with classmates) is possible at a lower rate per person – please contact us for more information!

My name is Sanne (23), and I'm a Master's student in Molecular Life Sciences with a strong passion for biochemistry. I have several years of tutoring experience and have helped over 20 students with various science subjects. I currently offer tutoring sessions in chemistry – whether you need help with a specific chapter or are looking for broader exam preparation.
During our sessions, we'll work through exercises together, and I'll guide you through the thought process step by step. Between sessions, you'll work independently on homework assignments. You'll need your own calculator and a Binas (reference book).
Tutoring in pairs or small groups (eg with a classmate) is possible at a reduced rate per person – feel free to get in touch for more details!

Mathematics, Physics & Programming Tutorials, High School + UndergraduatesAre you a high school or high school student and have difficulty understanding and solving math or physics problems? Then I am someone who would like to help you with that. I often see that in standard classroom teaching is succinctly taught. As a result, the student misses out on the whole picture, making the teaching material and the problems vague and unclear. My goal is to take the time for each student to complete the whole picture and guide them through complex problems, so that the student can not only take tests and exams with ease, but also enjoy learning the material.

Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Probability and StatisticsHello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching.
In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs.
In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.
