Hi, I'm Lise and I've been in education for several years. I like to help people learn and study. I myself have a bachelor's degree in biology, but I also really enjoy the subjects of mathematics and English! Now that the final exams are just around the corner, I think it would be useful to brush up on your skills!

As a biologist myself, I take a hands-on approach, learning through doing is the best method to fully understand. I can teach high school maths, physics, biology, chemistry as well as English. As I am English and am studying Maths and physics at university in the Netherlands am able to help up until this level. I am training to become a maths and physics teacher in England starting September, so not only is this something I can do but it is something that I really enjoy doing! I will try and explain everything in multiple ways and I am very understanding and accomodating for learning disabilities

I specialize in teaching Chemistry and Biology tutoring for success at school. My goal is to challenge but not to overwhelm the student. After each lesson I give tips on how you can get better grades at school. And I'm trying to help you in chemistry so that you will pass your exam.

I am currently studying medicine at the RUG in Groningen and also provide extra lessons. I have passed exams in mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, Dutch, biology and economics. I have achieved satisfactory results in all subjects but usually give tutoring in mathematics, English and biology. I can also provide tutoring in the other courses. I can come to the pupil at home but the pupil can also come to me, in Vries, Zeijen or the UMCG in Groningen.

Besides my studies I also participate in the Honour's college (an extra challenging programme followed besides the standard medicine programme) and I am involved in research going on in the hospital. As for my high school background, I have obtained an International Baccalaureate diploma with 44 out of 45 points. Previously I have already tutored IB Biology HL and now I feel ready to get back to tutoring!
