Teaching varies depending on your desired style, level and what you want to achieve. We will go through chords, both basic and advanced. Memorizing freatboard through very efficient method. Also learning all the scales and arpeggios, writing and reading the music. I can also help with songwriting and singing while playing. One of the objective is of course as well to learn how to improvise and play along with the band. Main focus is on learning as much as possible through fun and games.

I have been playing the violin for 13 years and am currently a classical violin student at Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. My journey with the violin has taken me through various performances, masterclasses, and teaching experiences. If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central.
