Having finished my Bachelor's degree in Spain and Master's in Groningen, I am currently a freelance performer and teacher. With plenty of experience in orchestras and chamber music all around Europe, when I came to Groningen I could explore other genres and I am currently playing in different ensembles related with classical, pop, jazz, folk, experimental or improvisation. My teaching method comes directly from renowned teachers as Kati Sebestyen and Juan Luis Gallego, but also adds my own intuition and self-discovery and acquired knowledge during pedagogy courses. During my lessons I create a good base for violin playing, understanding that it is all a combination of steps that we need to put together with consciousness, patience, joy and practice. Finally it is all about doing music and enjoy. The control of our mind and body is what give us the tools to make an instrument sound :) With genuine pedagogical intention, my lessons are very dynamic, joyful and efficient. I also like to play along with my students and use backing tracks.

I specialize in making Violin playing at the highest levels. Special focus includes how to play the violin with ease, without any discomfort over a lifetime. I play Baroque violin, use historically-informed approach to Early music, and all periods of music history, including contemporary practices.

I give violin lessons (also viola) for children and adults. During the first lesson we will first get acquainted and I will explain about the posture and we will first make sound. It is important to first learn the basics well (rhythm, reading notes, posture and more), I always give nice songs and if students prefer to learn to play something that is always allowed. If the student can already play then we look together for the repertoire. It is also important to practice regularly, you don't have to do much, 10 minutes a day works fine as long as it is regular. I play more classical music myself, but I can of course also play modern well-known songs.

It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or not, from the very first lesson I will provide you the possibility of enjoying playing music together with me. Instead of just playing alone on the lessons, throughout pieces for two violin with the teacher's involvement (me) you can learn several musical and technical aspects of this beautiful instrument :) . I am offering lessons for all ages and level as I have various experiences. My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I always cater to the needs and interests of my students, creating an individualized lesson plan for them. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I can teach Dorico Notation Software, Adobe Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and Ableton. I currently teach students internationally, and can accomodate other time zones. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
