At the age of 6 I learned to play the recorder, until I switched to the saxophone at the age of 8. After studying at the music school in Gleisdorf, I went to the Graz Conservatory and after graduating from the music high school, I studied at the University of Music & Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where I did vocal and instrumental pedagogy (IGP) at the Institute for Popular Music with a focus Studied classical sax. I took my own instrumental lessons from Richard Winkler, Wolfgang Puschnig, Martin Fuss, Klaus Dickbauer and Fabian Rucker, among others. There are also countless workshops with e.g. Branford Masalis, Randy Brecker, Torsten Skringer etc. In my career, instruments such as piano, clarinet and flute were added. I'm a professional musician myself and play in bands such as "Candlelight Ficus", "Die Ranzler", "Moneka Group" and "Matho & Das Vienna Dancehall Orchestra", as well as jobs with big bands, DJ's and much more. These two points are very important to me, so that the class experience is something dynamic (whether it is a child, a teenager, an adult or a group). The place of the class, a time in which we learn by having fun and enjoying the process of learning.

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

In my many years of teaching experience I have learned that every student has their own path, their own goals and their own preferences. And that's ideal for me, because I'm a classically trained flautist, have specialized in contemporary music and at the same time like to include jazz standards and world music in my teaching repertoire. We start the class with warm-up exercises and depending on the path you want to take, we will continue with technical exercises, etudes, repertoire and improvisation exercises. In any case, whether we're playing an Etude, a Bach Sonata or a piece by Miles Davis, fun and well-being come first! Depending on age and goals, we can arrange 30-45 or 60-minute lessons. For younger children who are not yet sure whether they want to start playing the flute, we can schedule a first time with the recorder.

I teach instrumental lessons (face to face from my Music Studio and online) on flute, piano, singing, saxophone and clarinet, as well as music theory. I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet. A graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Jazz), I have been involved in music my whole life, and a freelance professional since 2022. I have worked regularly in big bands and function bands across the UK and internationally. I am offering instrumental lessons in: saxophone (any), clarinet, flute, and bass clarinet online or in SW London (subject to availability). I offer lessons in Jazz (theory & improvisation), classical, and contemporary music.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.
