Hello everyone! I would like to greet each of you and praise your courage in learning a musical instrument. We are all exposed to the age of digitalization and now, more than ever, the real, tangible aspects of the moment are often neglected. That's why I believe that learning how to create art the old-fashioned way can put anyone back in touch with their own self! I completed a bachelor's and master's degree in violin performance with honors in Graz and attended a diploma course for 3 years at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In addition to my solo training, I am also regularly active in areas such as chamber music or professional orchestral playing (in orchestras such as the Graz Philharmonic, Recreation Orchestra Graz, Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Erl, Beethoven Philharmonic, Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra, etc.)

I aim to strike a balance as much as possible between teaching technical skills and musicality, as of course there cannot be one without the other when learning an instrument. Lessons are a mixture of teaching and demonstrating correct posture, finger patterns or body movements, and teaching and engaging a learner with rhythm, pitch and melody, and then combining them together. I am a firm believer in tackling one aspect at a time in lessons and gradually combining it with another aspect of playing. I often include activities such as playing a note and asking the student to match my pitch or sound quality, or including musical games that can develop musical memory and rhythm. The most important aspect of learning any instrument is of course the music! Aiming to help a student find music (or if they have ideas they are welcome to bring them along!) that they love and find absorbing - this can be any genre, as long as it has a tune! I have a variety of books of different levels that I can use to help students find styles that are fun and enjoyable for them. There are technical things that need to be worked on in playing any instrument - but of fundamental importance is that the student has a feel for the music they play and a musical idea of what the end goal of any piece is.

I am a violinist, 23 years old from Luxembourg and I am currently doing my Masters degree in Graz (Austria). During the last years I have given violin lessons to various students of all ages and I am very motivated to continue teaching and sharing the love towards music. It is really rewarding for me to support my students and to accompany them on their learning path. Furthermore I followed lessons about pedagogy in music. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
