I'm Kate, I come from Latvia, I've been playing the flute for 13 years and I'm currently studying with the principal flutist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. I teach classes in English, French, or Spanish to young students who wish to improve their instrument, either individually or collectively. I am also available for music theory, harmony, transposition, and analysis for any level of skill. Suitable for all ages and levels, whether beginners or advanced players. I have 9 years of experience with the Jaén Youth Orchestra, where I have performed in France, Slovenia, Italy and Spain. I have also had the opportunity to attend numerous in-person classes with violinists such as Mario Navas Fernández, Elvira López Sobaler, Juan Carlos Navarro, and Sarai Pintado. At the moment I’m part of the Krashna Musika orchestra in Delft.

VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

Santur training classes will be held online and are completely targeted and useful, so that after a short period of time, a person can easily play simple melodies on the santur. After initial training, you will begin to learn santur playing techniques that are closer to the contemporary style.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

This course is aimed at children who want to start in the world of music. We will learn basic notions of reading the staff and develop the ear, while we get to know the piano, and we explore the possibilities of our own voice. In this course we will also have music appreciation sessions of different genres and rhythms.

I teach individual online lessons: violin, viola, voice, piano, music theory and songwriting/composition online to all ages/levels. I use both Suzuki (by ear) and traditional methods (Orff/kodaly, note reading etc).
