Modern violin / viola playing: looking for your own artistic voice.

I use to teach in my hometown (Buenos Aires, Argentina) for the last 12 years and I continue now in Graz. Depending on the student interests and previous level I make custom lessons. Some of the topics can be: - Accompaniment for songs. - Playing Solos (Rock/Pop/Jazz) - Classical music - Improvisation - Harmony, counterpoint and music theory. Composition. I have a previous meeting with the student, where we know each other, talk about music and other interests so then I can create a custom study plan for the first lessons.

I am currently studying jazz guitar at KUG - Kunstuniversität Graz. I learned guitar at Conservatory for music and ballete in Ljubljana and I have been playing guitar for 12 years. This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
