Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online. I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level. In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination. Lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of each student. The most important thing is that we have a good time!

Customized lessons: Teaching beginning children, beginning adults, or experienced students are completely different experiences that require completely different methods. A constant focus in all cases is to ensure that students learn notation and music reading, which gives them some independence. As a first step, I create a plan together with the student, depending on his or her personal goals, and supplement this with musical pieces that I think will complement the learning path. I’ve been studying classical Piano since I was 9 years old, At the age of 16 I was accepted in the Exceptional Young Talent program at the Vienna Konservatorium Budapest, after studying for 4 years and finishing the program, I moved to Belgium and I obtained my Bachelor at Royal Conservatory of Ghent and I’m pursuing my career here ever since, I have won International Piano Competitions, I have played solo concerts in Paris, Poland, Budapest, Vienna, Mallorca. I teach with different methods depending the person’s age, and personality.

Whether you are starting to create your own beats or struggling to write a song, I will help you reach the next level you personally need. With a solid base of music education, I can help you express yourself through your music. I can get very technical if you need to, but I will also help you navigate the creative process and arrive to a place that works for you.

I view teaching vocals and songwriting as a therapeutic, holistic process, where my students learn techniques and practical tools that help them hone their craft, but also work through psychological blockages that make them into greater artists.

Hello, my name is Silvia! I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent. I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career. I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude. I will help students strengthen and consolidate their technical skills on the instrument, but we will also have a lot of fun in playing music! Al mijn lessen zijn aangepast aan de individuele behoeften van mijn leerlingen en kunnen zowel doorgaan in mijn living thuis als bij jou. We kiezen samen waar we aan werken. Noten kunnen lezen is zeker geen voorwaarde. Als je na de les nog vragen of problemen hebt, of misschien ben je snel door de oefeningen die ik gaf, dan ben ik ook bereikbaar voor meer uitleg met eventueel een filmpje en/of extra oefeningen. Ik ben in 2019 gitaarles en muziektheorie beginnen geven als zelfstandige en het blijft mij veel voldoening geven om mijn leerlingen hun eigen weg te zien uitgaan als muzikant. Ik zou dit voor geen job in de wereld willen ruilen. Ikzelf heb een jazz opleiding genoten maar heb altijd een breed scala aan genres bespeeld. You can follow lessons via webcam, or at your home near Ghent. It is therefore important that you have a clarinet at your disposal! Regarding music and other material: that is taken by me. Below you can find some information about myself: In addition to his education at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, Laurens has had the opportunity to learn several times in a number of masterclasses by, among others, Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Davide Lattuada (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Bart de Karter (New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet), Pascal Moragues (Orchester de Paris), Ricardo Mataredonna (The La Monnaie Theatre), David Van Maele (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides), Bart Watté (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides) etc. Both as a freelancer and an active member, Laurens has already been able to play in various orchestras, such as the Royal Music Chapel of the Belgian Air Force, Frascati Symphonic, the Euregio Youth Orchestra, the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra, La Chapelle Sauvage, the Flanders Young Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Symphony Orchestra , the Ghent University Harmony Orchestra... I am a pianist of more than 11 years of piano professional studies, in conservatorium Martin Tenllado, Spain. At the moment, I am preparing myself for the access exams of KASK in Gent. For over 1 year and a half I spent working with kids of all ages and i have expirience with music pedagogy and adapting the methods to the kid circustance and personality. I also give piano and music lessons for kids with no expirience with music. My native language is Spanish but I have a C1 level of english. Music theory is also really important for piano knowledge and I give customized excercises for the student.
