Professional Cellist teaches Online Classes, both reinforcement and initiation

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
I have been playing and studying the cello for almost a lifetime and I can assure you that it is one of the most wonderful things that can be done. Even if it costs! I can teach both beginners or amateurs who want to improve their level, as well as advanced students who want to perfect their work. Also, if you are someone who is considering starting with this instrument, do not hesitate!

We will work on all aspects of the execution: the technique of both hands, posture, relaxation, musical expressiveness ...

About Me

I'm a Spanish cellist that studied my Masters Degree and a Postgraduate in Ghent (Belgium) and I currently combine teaching with regular freelance work in different orchestras and ensembles, such as Opera Ballet Vlaanderen or Orquestra Ciutat de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya.

I base myself on the teachings received from my teachers during all my years of study, in which I have always been especially interested in the importance of the figure of the teacher for the healthy development of students. I adapt to the technical and musical needs of each student, even if we start from 0, without prior musical knowledge.

Education

-Postgraduate in Musical Performance Practice with Judith Ermert at the KASK-Conservatorium of the School of Arts in Gent.

-Masters Degree in Music with Judith Ermert at the KASK-Conservatorium of the School of Arts in Gent.

-I received my Bachelor Degree with Honor Mention at the Superior Conservatory of Music "Joaquín Rodrigo" of València, Spain.

-I coursed my Professional Degree at the Professional Conservatory of Music "Mestre Vert" of Carcaixent, where I received the Professional Music Award.

-I have received advice from renowned soloists and pedagogues such as Gautier Capuçon, Voro Bolón, Enrico Dindo, Peter Bruns, Tilmann, Wick, Troëls Svane, Sun Won-Yang or Asier Polo. In addition, I've been been a regular student of the great pedagogue María Casado.

Experience / Qualifications

I was cello teacher at the Muziekschool de Pinte, where I had 14 regular students
I've been privately teaching for the past few years and I have taken part in pedagogical courses given by CEPIC (Center for the Pedagogy of String Instruments)

I combine this with my orchestral experience, having been Academist of the Belgian National Orchestra & La Monnaie and as regular collaborator with the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen or the Orquestra Ciutat de Barcelona

I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the fantastic experience during my first private cello lesson. Javier's dedication, passion and expertise have left a deep impression on me. Javiers' ability to convey complex musical concepts clearly and comprehensibly made the lesson not only educational but also extremely inspiring. Javiers' patience and encouragement have boosted my confidence and encouraged me to continue my musical journey. It is clear that Javier is not only an excellent musician, but also an exceptional teacher. Javiers' dedication to nurturing the talent of his students is admirable.

Andrea
Classical and modern cello classes in Barcelona
Hello! I've been teaching continuously for over 10 years, and I'd like to explain what you can expect from a class with me. Personalized approach: The most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I will tailor the lessons to your needs: playing for pleasure at home is not the same as preparing for entrance exams (although always with the same rigor). Your goals will influence the methodology, the organization of your studies, the repertoire, and so on. Relaxed (but rigorous) environment: Once you've defined your goals, classes will be dynamic and pressure-free. Note! "Relaxed" doesn't mean undemanding; we'll just avoid military methods—especially given my personality and sense of humor. Music, not just notes: My methods are very dynamic, with a special emphasis on hearing and musicality. No "read, play, and turn the page." I avoid approaches obsessed with reading sheet music without memorizing, listening, or understanding what is being played. I want you to own your performance and make artistic decisions. Warning! I might even make you sing. No stylistic barriers: Thanks to my training in Jazz and Modern Music, I give equal importance to all genres. Adapting to your tastes, we'll go from baroque to blues, from Haydn to bebop... or even Michael Jackson. Why not? If you identify with this approach, contact me! Learning the cello is a pleasure, and I'd love to share it with you!

Damián
Online Classes of Piano, Keyboards and Musical Language
The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
