My experience goes from teaching children to adults.The level is no problem at all. Everyone is welcome in my classes and there is no problem in starting from 0 ! Every time is a good time to start playing or learning music :) My classes can have many different approaches, depending on what you're looking for and what your goals are. I can easily create a personal plan for you and adapt to your needs. Furthemore, comunication is really important, as I like that my students feel appreciated and listened to at all moments.

Originally from Australia from Italian parentage, I lived in the UK for 31 years before settling in Denmark. Music has been the centre of my life and I love having the privilege of being able to share it in as many ways possible. With many years of solo concert experience and over 25 years of teaching experience, I am offering limited slots for anyone wishing to learn piano either from scratch or to the highest level of performance. I have previously taught children aged 7-12 in two London Primary schools, as well as teenagers and adults at all levels. I offer accordion lessons for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level players who want to play the instrument and simply enjoy the music. I have been playing the instrument since 2007 and therefore I can offer various comments and tips for different levels of playing and give you various repertoire. My lessons are organised in a step-by-step development, but the final goal is to put everything together. I always want to give my best to my students and to share the knowledge that I have to hopefully inspire someone to continue developing as a musician. Hej! I'm Marshall, an Australian violinist currently living and studying in Copenhagen. I have just started the second year of my Masters's degree at The Royal Danish Academy of Music studying with Elisabeth Schneider. Along with my studies, I am a casual violinist with the Aarhus & Göteborg Symphony Orchestras. Prior to moving to Denmark I studied for my bachelor's degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on a full scholarship and have participated in the Mozarteum International Summer Academy. I have been teaching violin/viola since 2015 and in 2020-2021 I was employed by the West Australian Department of Education to teach violin/viola to primary school students. Each and every student is different, so I try and cater to their learning experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience with the violin/viola, I can help you with your musical journey. In each lesson, I focus on building a strong technical foundation, understanding music theory, and learning repertoire. I aim to make it a positive learning environment for both students & teachers. I have experience teaching beginners through to advanced students.

This class is for everyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar. The focus is to learn what you like and not just to play exercises. I specialize in improvising and composing so if you want to learn something from this it would be a lot of fun !

This class would be to analyse music it order to understand music on an intellectual basis. This would cover sight reading, musical analysis and figured bass. Things such as learning about harmony and structure would improve memorisation and understanding music on a higher level

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
