Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. Hi, my name is Jeremy and I’m a professional funk bassist. I've been playing music for 17 years, having performed and composed with many groups and ensembles across England and Belgium. I will teach you how to reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping lessons tailored to your personal needs. I have years of experience helping students improve as well as experience in many different styles of music such as Funk, Rock, reggae, jazz, blues etc! Some examples of what you might learn include: - The basics and advice for beginners - What makes a good bassline - Learning songs that you like - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - improvising, jamming and playing with others Appropriate homework/exercises and recordings are provided during lessons. During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

I am Henry, concert pianist, currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I have had extensive experience as a soloist on stages and in concerts, as well as experience as a teacher for children and adults with very good results. The teaching method involves different learning processes in the student; - recognition of notes on the keyboard - correct positioning of hands and fingers - learning to read sheet music - learning works and resources to interpret them - basic musical, melodic and rhythmic theory.

I teach Classical Piano, Jazz, Pop, Variety, Rock, Solfege and Harmony, for beginners or for more advanced levels and for all ages (children, teenagers, adults). I also work with the singers who need to learn the chords and general bases of Harmony applied to the Piano.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

My singing lessons are designed to help each student express themselves to the fullest, accompanying them in the process of discovering their own voice. I give in-person and online voice lessons for students of all levels and needs with a personalized curriculum depending on the student's interests and style preference. In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes. English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.
