Utopian Studies extends the notion from Thomas More's Utopia to the emergence of dystopian literature, highlighting the connection between fictionalized literary works and reality. The seminar is designed for students with advanced reading skills as the primary readings are mainly novels. Students are expected to carry out individual research. Further readings (journals, academic papers, etc) will be provided to support the discussion during the class. This class is for anyone who wishes to learn German from someone with native level skills. Whether it is to learn the basics as a beginner or to hone essay-writing skills. I am studying Social Anthropology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh. Classics are one of the biggest interests of mine; I started studying Latin and Ancient Greek languages and literature 6 years ago and I have been teaching for three years. I think studying these languages led me to be more aware of who I am as well as understand what is really worth. Latin (Ancient greek too) lessons consist of two different parts: grammar and literature. By studying grammar you are not going to just receive boring notions about the structure of the language, but you are going to deepen processes and rules that form Latin; with this method we are going to discuss about Latin and Greek mindset and then discuss about important themes studied by ancient people in literature. Furthermore, according to your needs and goals, we can exercise on translation of texts.

Every writer has a unique writing voice that is deeply connected to lived experience. This weekly exploratory public program will engage participants in both theatre-based embodied practices and writing exercises designed to assist them in tapping into a deeper process of crafting poetry. The progression of the program will be as follows: Week 1- A brief exploration of the questions, "What is a poem?", “What makes a good poet?” and "Why do write poetry?". Participants will bring their favorite selection of poetry to discuss why they feel connected to both the writing and the poet. This is in preparation for Week 2.

By reading it regularly, progress will be faster. It can also be used in addition to other documents (files printed by school teachers and/or books) and has many advantages: automatic updating, downloadable on tablets and smartphones, simultaneous monitoring of what is writing. For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The student will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, argue coherently (and convincingly) and enrich his vocabulary. It is essential for me to have written work from the student between each lesson. For analyzes of oral literary texts: In order to optimize the time available (and to put ourselves in conditions closest to oral exams), we choose together an extract from a work that the student will have previously prepared before the lesson. If necessary, I have the habit of taking a paragraph at random which would serve as a basis for analyzing a passage. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. For adults (FLE): In order to optimally prepare the first ones, I take the initiative to inform myself in advance of their objectives / expectations.
