Concertist cellist graduated from the crr of Paris, the Queen's School of Music (Madrid, Spain) and the Ecole Normale de Musique of Paris Alfred Cortot, gives cello lessons all levels, from the youngest to the oldest, we will work on the posture of the hands, the relationship between our body, our breath, in relation to the instrument, the goal is to give different tools combining technique and music (melodic phrase) so that the student can progress by himself and enjoy to what he does, help him develop his own musical ideas, whether amateur or professional in the making.

Cello is not just an orchestral or chamber music instrument! Learn modern styles and techniques of playing cello, whilst also building a strong traditional technique. This is a good class for students who already have some music training and wish to expand their knowledge into performative or production areas - such a using loopstation, sound design on the cello, finding your 'voice' as an artist. Or simply for those who wish to explore music outside of traditional genres - learn how cello is used in genres such as electronic music, pop music or rock!

Former viola da gamba student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) and in Literary classe préparatoire with a music option at the Lycée Fénelon in Paris, I offer viola da gamba lessons. I have been teaching viola at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison (CRR) since 2019 and have been giving private lessons for many years. I teach both children and adults. My teaching method is particularly focused on working on the body, how to mobilize it in the most efficient and healthy way possible when playing, using some tools that I learned during my work in Alexandre Technique I teach at my place in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. My teaching method is scrupulously adapted to each student I have, regardless of the subject to work on (musical language, cello, music history, analysis, conducting, etc.) I always apply the Belgian teaching model, where I trained with my master's degrees in Conducting (Antwerp) and Historical Cello (Brussels). Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience. Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. I focus on the same aspects while teaching, so we will improve your musical and technical abilities, as well as your awareness of your own body and emotions.
