I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived since 2009. Individual lessons enables me to tailor and adapt my teaching to every pupil's needs; helping them to learn the repertoire or skills that each individual requires. I cover styles such as classical, contemporary, pop, jazz and film music. I have prepared and entered pupils entry exams/auditions of conservatoires and music colleges of Spain and Europe as well as for composition competitions as I have won more then 30 awards myself and have been adjudicator of some composition competitions. I was also a professor in the Music faculty at Madrid's 'University Centre TAI', the Trinity Music Academy in London and The Conservatoire of Barcelona

As an educator, Fiachra is focused always on finding the way of making music which suits each of his students best, with a confident and comfortable way of working with the instrument (which then transfers into the rest of life). I have been teaching piano for over 20 years now. I trained at the Royal College of Music after winning a junior scholarship, where I spent 8 years studying piano, cello, music theory and choral music. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
