Digital art, Concept Art and Illustration for students who want to become professional artists

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path. A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across. I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child. Drawing is a fun activity. It's very interesting to see how the lines take shape as you draw them, and it's also satisfying when you take the finished drawing home. This workshop is aimed at people of all ages, from children to adults who love to draw and want to learn tricks and tips for drawing. You can bring anything you like and would like to draw, whether it's a manga, a photograph, or even the actual object if you can bring it with you. If you don't have anything in particular, we'll look at the materials I've prepared together and I'll give you tips on how to draw! You can draw on paper with a pencil or marker, or if you have a tablet, that's fine too.

I have a bachelor's degree in digital arts, obtained at Saint Luc in 2016. During my studies I made live models, had courses in color, 2D animation, perspectives and character design. I mainly draw with a graphics tablet. Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. Je vous enseignerai également tous les fondamentaux indispensables dans l'industrie, tels que l'anatomie, la perspective, la couleur et la lumière, et la composition. Diplômé de l'École Émile Cohl avec un baccalauréat spécialisé en Game Art, j'ai eu la chance de travailler avec plus de 15 studios différents de jeux vidéo, de jeux de société, de jeux de cartes à collectionner (TCG) et de jeux de rôle, en créant pour eux des concept art et des illustrations.
