Hello, I'm Jungmi, a professional jazz pianist and composer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano and a degree in Jazz Composition from the Maastricht Conservatory. As the leader of the Little Big Jazz Orchestra, which I founded in 2022, I explore rich emotional landscapes through expressive melodies, intricate harmonies, and unique orchestrations. My orchestra has received recognition, including a nomination for the Maastricht Jazz Awards, the Audience Award, and performances at festivals such as Jazz Out Fest and Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg. We were also finalists for the Edmond Hustinx Prize and received an Honorable Mention at the Laren Jazz Festival 2024. Currently, we are preparing for our debut album release.
