Course of music theory

This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

I'm Giorgos and i teach Lute and Classical guitar! I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments. I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule. My aim with teaching is to find the best way to facilitate the student to find their own voice and direction, and to help steer them on their preferred road of performance. The schedule and repertoire are decided by the student, and we plot a course together depending on your goals, whether that's aiming to place into an academy or the conservatories, or if you just enjoy playing music as a hobby and wish that it accompanies you through your life! I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

Graduated from the Lyon Conservatory in cello, musical training and with a double Master's degree in cello and double bass from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels I give lessons for all levels, all ages. You like Bach suites for solo cello, the music of Telemann, Chopin, tangos, etc. It is possible to learn music at any age and I would be happy to support you on your journey. You do not have an instrument, I will lend you one during the first lesson and can guide you in your search for an instrument afterwards. I teach at my home, at yours in Ixelles, Etterbeek, Saint-Gilles, Forest, Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and in Brussels. Possibility of giving lessons by Zoom or other. Available for beginner and advanced students that want to learn jazz saxophone or music theory. As a Siena Jazz University ex-student, studying free improvisation and/or non-idiomatic ways to compose and improvise music is also possible. Songwriting and composing is also a possible subject that could be treated at lessons.

My name is Angelika and I am a cellist from Greece, currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels. I hold a diploma in cello performance and harmony from Greece. Currently I'm studying my Master's degree on cello performance in Brussels after obtaining my Bachelor's with high distinction. I offer lessons to both beginners and those already acquainted with cello. In addition I offer music theory, ear training and harmony lessons. I'm friendly with children and can get them started in either general music education to prepare them for instrument studies later on or alternatively guide them to their first steps in cello playing. I'm a pianist currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels offering piano lessons to anyone interested in starting with piano to more advanced pianists as well! With some of my students we play classical, pop or even movie soundtracks, so I always adapt my teaching to the student and his motivations/aspirations.
