Private Piano and Solfeggio lessons at home

This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

Music is my passion and it is a joy for me to pass it on: My educational experience and my training allow me to teach music with games and playful methods in order to learn and play with pleasure, and I adapts the pieces and methods according to the level of the students and their ages.

Hi, I'm Nikos, a guitar teacher with over 12 years of experience and a Master's degree in classical guitar performance from the Conservatory of Brussels. I have taught over 100 students, providing individualized lessons and personalized attention to every one of them. I'm Giorgos and i teach Lute and Classical guitar! I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments. I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule. My aim with teaching is to find the best way to facilitate the student to find their own voice and direction, and to help steer them on their preferred road of performance. The schedule and repertoire are decided by the student, and we plot a course together depending on your goals, whether that's aiming to place into an academy or the conservatories, or if you just enjoy playing music as a hobby and wish that it accompanies you through your life! I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. I am a professional oboist with over 20 years of specialised music education in England, Germany, and Belgium and performing experience with some of the best orchestras in the world including the London Symphony Orchestra, Gurzenich Orchestra in Koln, and National Orchestra of Belgium. I have experience teaching young children, teenagers, and adults as well as giving group lessons. I offer private one on one lessons either in my home or yours (and at the moment via webcam) with a focus on fun, musical fluency, gaining confidence in technique, and learning repertoire. Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them.
