Hello All ! My name is Mario. I am a pianist, composer, producer based in Bruxelles . I have a long experience as a Jazz pianist, keyboardist and arranger and I played in a lot of different bands . In the last ten years I spent a lot of time producing electronic music and I developed my solo and other projects as a mix of jazz, electronic and neoclassical music. I have a master degree in Live Electronics took a the Antwerp Conservatory. I decided to create this course where we can explore together the basics of music production using Ableton Live suite as a reference software. My name is Roman and I have been a composer of electronic music for about ten years. A multi-instrumentalist, I began my musical adventure by playing the guitar and then the piano. After obtaining my Brevet d'Études Musicales, I trained in Computer-Assisted Music (MAO), composition, audio mixing and mastering techniques. I work on Ableton Live software. Today, as an artist-author, I regularly partner with other artists and contribute to a wide variety of live performance and music-for-image projects. For the 2024-2025 season, I am participating in several artistic residencies and stage performances. I offer you a personalized, adaptable approach to achieve your learning objectives in MAO: on the menu, composition, arrangement, sound design, mixing... According to tastes! My main instrument and style is classical guitar, but I have also played electric guitar and piano for over ten years. MY MUSICAL PAST: After many trips abroad, training in jazz piano (Antwerp) and in "electronic music production" at the SAE (Brussels), I released my first EP in November 2017 entitled "Into The Star" which then allowed me to play on several Belgian stages including the Botanique last March. Objectivity: Giving through the sharing of my in-depth knowledge of the subject as well as an interesting perspective, allowing me to see the music industry as a whole. Subjectivity: Giving through the sharing of my artistic experiences and views on music and the elements that produce it. The desire to have students for several weeks allows me to know enough about them to advise them best in the paths they undertake. The courses will therefore be a balanced mix between: - Training in digital music / by computer (MAO / ...) - Training in acoustic music / by instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ...)
