Hi there! I'm Lynn, a languages and all culture-related enthusiast with a particularly keen interest in singing, storytelling and transdisciplinary art. Which in turn led me to be a freshly graduated Master-student in Performing Arts, with a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Letters where I primarily studied English as well as Russian linguistics and literature, along with a Dutch minor. These university years gave me the opportunity amongst others to learn more in-depth about the subjects I was most passionate about during my Art Humanities, i.e. performance studies, philosophy, art - and cultural history, as well as literary/critical analysis of various different artforms. Brought up bilingual (French-Dutch) from earliest infancy, I very early came to realise the many possibilities and encounters this opened up, which encouraged me to continue down this path of language learning and intercultural communication. At first, I was incredibly fortunate to benefit from the work of a truly invested and passionate English teacher during the scope of my humanities and to acknowledge all of the difference that it makes when learning a foreign language. Subsequently, prior to my studies I got the chance to travel to Ireland for a year during which I mainly worked as an au pair. This not only took my English to the next level, but also sharpened my childcare skills and pedagogical abilities. Now that I've completed my studies and am opening up a new chapter of my working-life, I'm very excited to put all of this baggage to work along with you! I wholeheartedly believe in the power of play and sharing fun, artistic and/or meaningful activities which help put things into practice in order to learn a new language in a lively, profound and sustainable way. Former student in Science and Applied Mathematics, I teach science level beginner, intermediate or advanced at any grade level. It starts from physics (dynamic, ...), to chemistry (molecular or otherwise) to biology (which is more theoretical and therefore a framework of "how to study one's biology" and understanding of anatomical concepts or other) . Mathematics classes are also possible at any secondary level. English, French and Dutch classes can also be given. I am an academic.

My name is Paul and I am a Dutch and English teacher. I am originally from Antwerp - Belgium, where I also studied, but I have been living in Spain for a number of years. I have been a teacher for more than 10 years now, and I specialise in Dutch (and English) as a second language. I have worked for various Dutch (language) organisations, such as the Dutch school in Barcelona and the Dutch Language and Culture Foundation on the Costa Blanca. I have experience with almost all levels and ages, although most students are highly educated people who want to work in Belgium or the Netherlands, and want to learn the language in a short period of time. I also have experience with preparing for official exams and integration programmes. In recent years I have specialised in giving lessons online. This is particularly useful for students who don't have a lot of time, but still want to learn the language efficiently. I always offer a tailor-made lesson package – not everyone has the same needs and goals. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
