A course combining the two disciplines of singing (vocal technique: breathing, support, placement, resonators, projection and techniques specific to the repertoire of Musical Comedy such as Belting) and theater: construction of a character, work on its psychology and its corporality, reflection on the stakes of the song at this moment of the story, how to intelligently associate the music and the intentions of the game. I can also offer you coaching specifically dedicated to preparing for auditions for shows or companies, and entrance auditions into performing arts schools. A few words about my background: A teacher of musical comedy, singing and theatre for 15 years, I have taught in several professional training establishments such as the Studio International des Arts de la Scène and the Académie des Arts de Paris as well as structures for amateurs (children and adults) such as the Université Paris Sorbonne or the M'Art Studio in Marrakech (Morocco). As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
