TYPICAL COURSE PROGRESS: * Body preparation time: stretching the phonatory muscles, awakening the resonators and working on the “wind tunnel”. * Vocal preparation time: putting into voice and vocalizing. * We sing! Work on one or two pieces, or texts prepared in advance: technique applied to the tune or text, and interpretation. * Time for transcribing exercises and recommendations.

This course is particularly for children from 3 to 7 years old. If your child loves singing, and would like to sing in english, this is the perfect music session for him or her. 45 mins duration each week, different theme ( colour, weather, season, celebration, food) along with little instruments I have been teaching in a bilingual kindergarten and school as a music educator, music and language for sure is a fun way to learn for the little ones. I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. In our Oud class, I will guide you through everything from basic to advanced techniques. We will cover playing for all levels, correct left-hand use, synchronizing with the right hand, handling the pick, tuning the Oud, and effectively using a tuner and metronome. In the remaining time, we will dive into reading musical notes, starting with basic Solfege and progressing to advanced and oriental Solfege, including dictation exercises. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded musical journey My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Growing up in the musical world, with a drummer father and a singer mother, Music is an integral part of my life. After several volunteer projects, I was spotted at Disneyland Paris for larger projects (8000 people per evening). I then obtained a certification as a "Singer in Current Music", with an impressive result of 49.63 out of 50. My last Gala was that of the "Pièces Jaunes" for Mrs. Brigitte Macron. I am also a Vocal Coach, from child to adult. All levels. We work on intonation, emotion, musicality and pronunciation (songs in several languages). My teaching method? I am convinced that everyone can sing, if they are motivated. It is therefore important for me to accompany my students with tact and enthusiasm. The exercises and songs performed will be in line with the students' desires and needs.

Alternatively, If you are already Studying Music and/or Singing and want help with revision or Practice, I am Happy to accommodate for this also. I have my Grade 8 in Singing, as well as having been trained in Music at degree level in multiple genres of vocal performance and additionally with 25 years of experience in performing arts. I am more than happy to accommodate multiple Genres, and again, all learning is at the students pace. I am available to teach from Friday 21st February 2025.
