​​Hello, my name is Alex and I am a certified Violin teacher of 7 years. Additionally to my teaching passion, I have performed in Carnegie Hall, Chicago Orchestra Hall, Sydney Opera House, among others, with orchestras including Classical Symphony Orchestra, Paderewski Symphony Orchestra and Protege Philharmonic. I have performed with chamber groups including the Cras Trio and 20+ Modern Ensemble. I currently teach violin face-to-face in Bordeaux, France and Angouleme, France. I also work with students online who would like to recieve extra practice prior to orchestra auditions or competitions. I have an active music company Violin Inc. that creates music opportunities and concerts for amateur musicians. It also provides educational lessons specifically for violin learning, using Suzuki and ABRSM methods with a mixture of American and European techniques. * Learning violin online does cause extra obstacles, but I assure you it is possible with the right tools and patience. My teaching methodology is created with a mixture of several music methods that suit each individual independently. We create the music method so that it suits your needs and helps you grow consistently. I enjoy teaching classical music and classic-pop music. I believe in note reading as an essential part of violin training, so reading music and understanding simple theory is always included during lessons. Welcome to my online Piano Class. The idea is to have the basic notions to be able to work a string organic. You will study how to write for each string instrument: violin, viola, cello and double bass. Also how to work together, whether for a trio, quartet or thinking about a larger organization like an orchestra.

With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. I often play chamber music (piano/violin) or violin duets with my students. My course is aimed at anyone who has the time to work on their instrument, children from 4 or 5 years old, adolescents, seasoned amateurs, beginners or advanced adults...
