Drawing, sketching and painting lessons for beginners

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

My name is Virág, and I am a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer. I have honed my skills as a 2D illustrator and visual developer, working as both a character and background designer in the Netherlands. There, I contributed to a variety of projects, including music videos, informative animations, promotional videos, and posters. Notably, I worked on animated music videos for Spinning Records and Steve Aoki's '6OKI' animated music video series. While my primary focus is on the cartoon style, I have experience in a diverse range of styles, including corporate, whiteboard animation, realistic, and children's illustration. My journey in drawing began in my childhood, with experiences at places like 'Corvin Drawing & Design School' and 'Secondary School of Visual Arts, Budapest'. In 2019, I completed the Concept Art course at 'Mesharray, Budapest', which set me on the path to my current career. I’m excited to share my expertise on character design for animated clips, highlighting key aspects to consider during the design process, the various styles available, and how it all comes together on screen. I’m also offering a Photoshop and Illustrator course designed specifically for beginners who want to dive into the realm of digital drawing. Feel free to reach out and say hello! This is a matte painting portfolio build-up class designed for those interested in creating a professional portfolio and pursuing a career in film postproduction. In this class, you will learn industry-standard techniques to transform scenes from day to night and create stunning, atmospheric environments. Through hands-on practice, you’ll gain a solid foundation in matte painting essentials, working with lighting, color correction, and composition. By the end of the course, you will have developed a polished portfolio with pieces that showcase your ability to enhance storytelling through visual landscapes—ideal for launching your journey in the world of postproduction.

Fashion designers all have to start somewhere -- with the fashion figure called a "croquis." A croquis is a quick sketch of a fashion figure, and the first step of all fashion designs. In this class, we will learn how to make a croquis, starting with a beginner fashion figure tutorial and learning techniques to make them personalized and bring your designs to life.

This class is for aspiring graphic design and art students that would like to enter an art&design school in Switzerland. I will teach you the basics of the composition, colour, editorial, how to approach the design brief, and also how to use the main tools (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator). I am currently a secon-year graphic design student at the Geneva school of art&design.
