I'm teaching music since 2013 and hold Indian classical Diploma, Western music all grade certificates in guitar and a MA graduate in Music Production from Derby, UK. I enjoy composing music so bringing all notes to life with different sounds is a different feeling altogether., Teaching all these styles to new students is really fun and challenging at times. However It can be acquired with maintaining proper balance with music theory and practical knowledge. With my teaching methods and approach towards my subject, I will mould every student into a good musician provided with all the knowledge they would require to settle down in the industry. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!
