Hi everyone, My music adventure started with playing piano when I was 8 years old. When I was 14, I got accepted from Istanbul University State Conservatoire and started to play flute and saxophone. After I graduate, I went to Marmara University Music Education department in Istanbul and graduated in 2016. In the same year, I moved to the Netherlands in order to study jazz music. I graduated from Prince Claus Conservatoire in 2020 and moved to Berlin last January for work and my master programme. I used to perform on various genres with different setups in lots of different venues in Istanbul and Europe. I mainly play contemporary/experimental music, but also enjoy playing and teaching pop, jazz, classical, blues, funk, soul, latin, afro-jazz.

Ich bin eine professionelle Sängerin mit Studium an der Musikene, Musikhochschule in San Sebastián (Baskenland), wo ich im Juni 2016 meinen Bachelor absolviert habe. Vorher habe ich ein Diplom in modernem Gesang an der Música Creativa und in Musicals am Centro Superior de Artes Escénicas in Madrid erworben. Heute bin ich eine aktive Musikerin und gebe neben Konzerten auch Musikunterricht an verschiedenen Schule sowie privat. Eine der Schulen an der ich unterrichtet habe ist die Deutsche Schule Madrid. My way of teaching is to focus on developing confidence in using the tools for realizing your creative potential. Teaching is very important to me; to impart knowledge to a student and see them grow musically is something I find highly rewarding. In classes (held both online and offline with safety precautions in place) I focus on each student’s individual needs and cover DAW’s necessary for their aims, from Ableton Live, to Bitwig and Logic. Bio: Hayden is a classically trained composer and sound artist from the UK, currently based in Berlin. His interest in the space between strains of acoustic and electronic music and attentiveness to composition acts as a connecting thread in his multiple artistic projects. Besides performing with his solo project, Hayden also acts as leader of the critically acclaimed band Tether, performs as an instrumentalist, and works as a sound designer for advertising, film, and theater. He has designed soundscapes for Ableton, Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin, and Cashmere Radio amongst others.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
