I specialize in tutoring French to Adults including those who want to get French accreditations set by the French Ministry of Culture. From 2004 to 2010, I was a French as a Second Language (FSL) instructor at Alliance Française de Toronto (Canada) and I also was in charge of providing one-on-one and group classes to Members of the Provincial Parliament (MPP) of Ontario and high-ranking Canadian public servants in various Canadian Federal Government Departments, Ontario Provincial Government Ministries and Ontario Court of Justice to assess their French language skills, help them in their job and prepare them to successfully take the Canadian federal and provincial language accreditation exams. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
