Hello, Recently graduated with a double master's degree (master in pedagogy + master in performance) in violin at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, I offer violin lessons. My lessons are aimed at a wide audience of all levels (from beginners to 3rd cycle conservatory) and of all ages. Having taught for two years in a conservatory, I give courses of all types according to the needs of the student: discovery of the instrument, discovery of music, lessons, recorder support lessons, music theory support, directory specific to the instrument and others. I remain in the academic framework but you will use unusual means in order to make you discover other aspects of music (improvisation etc).

Professional cellist with master offers cello, baroque cello and music theory for children, teenagers and adults. During my lessons I will adapt to the student and the type of musician in front of me. I like deepening the technique of the instrument, but the ultimate goal is to use this technique to better express music in all its facets. Improvisation is an important element that I like to use in class so that the student can develop his personal style.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that!
