I have been teaching children and adults of all skill levels privately for over 10 years and have experience teaching at Boston University and the New England Conservatory. I serve as a substitute for the Musikschule Riehen and Musikschule Basel. I offer 30/45/60 minute lessons and I am happy to teach you in your home. My main area of expertise is classical music but I have experience as a Jazz teach and player. I did my piano studies in Chicago, Boston, and Basel. Especially in a private 1-1 setting, it is important that the lessons are molded to the individual student's needs and I look forward to discussing your interests with you!

FR/SP My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel. Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher. Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.

Piano Unterricht für erwachsene Anfänger und Wiedereinsteiger. Hello , I am an Argentinian/Italian pianist and composer currently in Basel for a master in Jazz Campus. For the last 15 years I have been teaching private lessons and in music schools. I also have experience in group classes, teaching harmony, ear training and improvisation. Although my main focus is Jazz, I have trained classical for many years. I like to help people to relate to the essence of the music and to understand the pieces, in order to be able to perform them better or improvise. Classes are taught in English, German or Spanish. In my guitar lessons you will learn the basics of playing this instrument. You will learn to play traditional Rock and Pop songs and riffs, or Jazz songs as Standard or modern songs.
