A pianist with a degree from the Conservatory of Music, I have years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages. I have a classical background, so I can help you learn the musical language, the correct technique and posture on the piano, working directly with the repertoire of pieces and songs that I can propose and that you want to play.

In this course, I will teach you the first steps to start playing classical piano. We will begin to do some hand placement exercises, scales, arpeggios and different exercises and then begin to play simple works, which will become more complicated over time. The duration of the classes in principle is 1 hour. If you would like less or more time, we can manage it. In principle the classes are taught in my studio, but everything could be discussed. Depending on the area I could move.

This course is aimed at both beginners who want to learn from scratch and intermediate students who want to improve their musical skills. Also people who need support at some Elementary Grade level. It can be complemented with piano lessons. This class aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of music theory and develop skills in rhythm reading. Throughout the course, topics such as notes, accidentals and musical symbols, measures and timing, scales, as well as the interpretation of sheet music will be covered. Practical exercises and their applications in real musical examples will be carried out. Course objectives include mastering music theory, rhythm reading, appreciating music on a deeper level, and preparing for musical performance and composition.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
