By reading it regularly, progress will be faster. For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. I’m a Spanish teacher with several years of experience teaching students with completely different backgrounds, from corporate students with a background in finance to secondary and primary students in schools. I have worked in many institutions and I used to have my language organisation in Oxford before the pandemic. I hold a BA in Creative Writing from Brunel University (London), I’m a Latin American & Spanish Literature Teacher (Argentina) and I graduated from a MA in Modern Languages, Literature and Culture at King’s College London (London) where I have been awarded with both the Von Schlippenbach PGT bursary and the Cosmo-Davenport Hines Poetry Prize (2022). Additionally, I have a postgraduate course in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford (Oxford). My books, reviews, and collaborations appear in magazines, anthologies and literary projects from Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Germany, Bolivia, the US, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Bangladesh, India & the UK. These interactive, informal, and supportive online classes are aimed at students of any age (above 7 years) who wish to write poetry, short stories, or creative prose (such as life writing). This includes beginners who are keen to learn basic writing skills, and those with some experience wishing to develop their practice and learn more, including students of English and creative writing at school, college or outside of formal education. Although we will touch on key grammatical terms, the focus will be on your creative expression through the written word. In these classes, which will be tailored according to age, experience, needs, and areas of interest, students will learn the basics of writing short stories, including flash fiction; poetry, including free verse and traditional forms such as Haiku and sonnets; and creative prose, including life writing or short creative essays. You can attend as many classes as you like, and together, we will build your skills and understanding of creative writing, including identifying the stories you want to tell. The classes will be a mix of presentation, 'warm-up' writing activities, discussion, reading and analysing key texts, main writing activities, and redrafting, editing and proof-reading your work. For those wishing to get published, there will be additional optional support available, such as detailed editing and mentoring advice, as well as hints and tips on developing as a writer.
