I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. This bright curiosity fueled me to the International Physics Olympiad, where I won the Silver Medal twice in a row, alongside dozens of medals and special awards from other international competitions, such as the European Physics Olympiad or the Asian Physics Olympiad. 5 years ago, I decided to share my love for Physics with other students, so I became a private tutor. So far, I worked with students of all ages and difficulties. From students with difficulties to students who wanted to be selected for the International Olympiad. Need help with math or science? As a civil engineer, 31, I am happy to help you! Learn at your pace and with many examples to clarify the learning material. I have years of experience in teaching simple and complex material. The lessons run as follows. First of all, together we look for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I continue to work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give them tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. Once the student has mastered the exercises from the lesson, I give some more challenging exercises to also test on the deeper understanding of the subject matter. In this way I try to optimally prepare the student for his / her test or exam. However, learning should also be enjoyable. That is why I always strive for a good relationship with the student through a spontaneous and positive approach. I am also very patient.
