Each voice is different and each person approaches art in their own way. In our classes we aim to find the best possible way to realize your musical goals. We will go over the techniques of singing, vocal health, other vocal skills, understanding of harmony and bringing out emotion while singing. Songwriting is another area that I'd love to help in. We work on creating melodies, working on harmonies and chords, and the reason why they work the way they do. We also work on creative songwriting and arranging techniques, as well as learning how to make sheet music for it that any musician in the world can pick up, read and play (in case you become a big star and do a world tour haha). During my 8 years of teaching, I've taught at some of the best local music schools in New Delhi (like One World College of Music and Blue Note School of Music) and have also been tutoring people in private 1v1 classes on both voice and piano.

I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key!
