My name is Ignacio Pintó and I am a Spanish bass player living in Amsterdam. I moved to this lovely city four years ago to study the Jazz Double Bass Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I am in love with music, my main occupation right now is working in projects that excite me deeply, trying to bring new sounds to the world through composition and improvisation. I love sharing this excitement and knowledge with people. That's the reason why I have developed a flexible system to organise music development, based on my recent experience. In the lessons we will focus on the music you love and find ways to develop the skills it requires in a methodic way, always having fun in the process. We will also playfully explore creativity and improvisation, my ultimate goal is finding your voice as a musician and helping you develop it! Although double bass is my main instrument now, my first steps as a musician were given with bass guitar. I also have experience teaching that instrument and I feel equally capable of helping you develop those skills. Each voice is different and each person approaches art in their own way. In our classes we aim to find the best possible way to realize your musical goals. For that I aim to create a comfortable environment where one feels excited to sing and challenge themselves. We will go over the techniques of singing, vocal health, other vocal skills, understanding of harmony and bringing out emotion while singing. Songwriting is another area that I'd love to help in. We work on creating melodies, working on harmonies and chords, and the reason why they work the way they do. We also work on creative songwriting and arranging techniques, as well as learning how to make sheet music for it that any musician in the world can pick up, read and play (in case you become a big star and do a world tour haha). I can also help Beginner students at the Piano. Technique, posture and music theory are aspects we would work on! I've been teaching people of all ages since I was 21. During my 8 years of teaching, I've taught at some of the best local music schools in New Delhi (like One World College of Music and Blue Note School of Music) and have also been tutoring people in private 1v1 classes on both voice and piano.

My goal is that you come out of the lessons feeling inspired and enriched by music and of course, trying to enjoy together. I'm Georgian violinist, currently studying at the concervatory van Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience to play on stage as a soloist as well as in ensembles. I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. As a Cambridge University graduate in the Faculty of Education, I am delighted to have settled down in the Netherlands since September 2019. I started piano at the age of 5, and music has been an important part of my life ever since. Classically trained as a violinist, I picked up another instrument named Erhu (Chinese violin) and became a professional performer. I am experienced in teaching both children and adults, from different cultural backgrounds. Also, I have been actively involved in both Western and Chinese orchestra since high school. Thanks to my years of experience in being an orchestra member and soloist, I am also familiar with orchestral music. As a humble music therapist, I am passionate about music and believe in the power of music. I trust that music is in everybody and I respect every student's individuality and thus tailor my teaching methods to develop my students' full potential.
