In this course you will learn techniques, patterns, phrasings and drum vocabulary to be able to play whatever interests you. This course is not limited to any specific level. We will explore the instrument from a contemporary perspective based on tradition in order to not only survive in any musical context, but also exceed expectations. Percussion includes many instruments, from the one you hear in the orchestra, to African/Latin percussion, or to the pitched keyboard percussion. I have a background of 7 years of classical piano and I also have been studing and playing Jazz (drums) for the past 8 years of my life (currently finishing my studies in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
