I have tutored many students and they are performing better. My teaching skills involves using the internet, physical objects and practical to teach my students. I both teach adults and children. I have been doing this for more than 6 years now.

The onset of globalisation has made English the main spoken language for communication. Speaking fluent English is an imperative skill required to make socio-economic progress. I am currently a masters student at LSE, who was raised speaking the language. In addition to my fluency in English, I also can teach social sciences, as it is my field of expertise.

My goal is to keep students feeling motivated and engaged in the lesson. Feeling more confident in geography will help boost the moral going forward whether they go into doing general exams or SATs or GCSEs or start College. It can seem a lot but I will introduce it slowly so it does not become daunting and homework slowly introduced after the lessons. In each lesson you will learn a variety of skills and knowledge depending on what I have planned and you are more than welcome to give me work that you have been struggling on so it can be put into the lesson to go through together and practice and learn. This will be based on the school year. It may be from writing notes, drawing and annotating diagrams or maybe drawing shapes. This will always be an interactive lessons as you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable to ask questions.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Public speaking is generally understood to be formal, face to face, speaking from a single person to a group of listeners.

Hello, my name is Kate and I am a first-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in political science and double minoring in European Affairs and Human Geography. I've attended the British School in the Netherlands and have completed both my GCSE's and the IB. During my GCSE's I took separate sciences, spanish, english literature, maths, drama and geography with grades ranging from 6-9. In IB I took higher level english literature, geography, spanish and standard level maths applications and interpretations, psychology and biology. My predicted was 39 and I've recieved 34 points in total with acceptance from universities like University College London, Kings College London, University of Toronto, Leiden University, Amsterdam University, Maastricht and I passed the Oxford exam.
