Trusted teacher: I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar. I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University. A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more enjoyable, and more practical for my students. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar. If you want to speak Turkish well, please get in touch with me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!

Trusted teacher: TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING. Hello, My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it. -Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson. -If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners). -Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent. -Motivation, laughter, good humor :-) My method: -It is oral based. -For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated. -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam. See you soon! Laurie NB: Possibility of making an invoice for individuals or businesses.

With over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, I’ve developed a unique method that combines the essential skill of reading sheet music with learning to play basic tunes by ear. My approach is enhanced by a carefully curated selection of the most effective and engaging musical repertoire from around the world, offering students both a solid foundation and an enjoyable learning experience. Hi I'm Daniel and I've been teaching the violin with passion and dedication since 2010. I've probably taught over a hundred students of all ages, levels and walks of life, from very beginners and children to aspiring professionals and mature enthusiasts — I really enjoy working and interacting with everybody. I've been playing violin since I was six, and was lucky to have amazing teachers and exceptional musicians from Russia, Israel, Poland, and USA, who tutored and mentored me over the years, contributing to my knowledge of almost every possible technique, style, and method of playing of this complex and challenging instrument. I'm also a professional viola player and I could teach it happily as well. My diverse interest, passion, and experience in the musical world has led me to collaborate and perform with some renowned international artists in the classical, pop, folk, klezmer, jazz, and rock genres — some of these names would include Zubin Mehta, Mischa Maisky, Andres Mustonen, Lord of the Dance, Ariel Zilber, Giora Feidman, Omri Mor, Yonatan Razel.

Trusted teacher: I consider myself a self-motivated, caring, patient and hardworking independent German teacher. I have a solid knowledge of IGCSE, A-Level, Goethe, TELC and TEST-DaF certificates and 10 years of experience in the education sector. I also have extensive experience in the entrance exams for Gymnasium in Switzerland and in the area of Business German. Currently, I teach mainly Asian students in small groups who are working on their professional recognition to work in the healthcare sector in Germany. I also support children and adults, mainly online, both individually and in small groups to meet the diverse needs and interests of learners. Previously, I worked as a secondary and A-level teacher at Benalmádena International College in Spain, using a variety of teaching approaches to help students of all ability levels understand the material and achieve the best possible grades. For several years, I taught German as a foreign language to between 15 and 25 students per course for EFEM and Kolping in Stuttgart, Germany, promoting the students' immersion in foreign cultures, preparing their applications with them and developing lesson plans to fully cover the respective course material. I was born in Austria but have been living in Spain for almost 20 years now, so I speak fluent German, English and Spanish. I am a passionate reader, especially of biographies of female Nobel Peace Prize candidates, as they have had a lasting impact on society and have inspired me throughout my career. I also love nature and often spend my free time walking in the Andalusian countryside with my three dogs. I have a passion for cooking and baking from an ecological perspective, as I care about the environment and try to be a good role model.

Talk and Understand Turkish easily and well with Başak who is an Experienced and Patient Teacher for Adults and Kids-Online/In-Person Lesson (Maltepe)
Başak
I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

Laurie
'Langmethod' French Lessons are an excellent method to learn French. Laurie is very patient and speaks French throughout the lesson, and even though I have to crack my brain sometimes to understand it, it helps in the long run. I started with 10 lessons with Laurie, and will continue to further improve my French, thanks Laurie! :)
