Electronic resources, practice exam questions and video clips to consolidate the development of practical skills are covered in lessons. I base my tutoring on the student's needs, developing their prior knowledge, building confidence in their learning and problem solving skills whilst developing exam technique. At the moment all tuition is at my home or is online using Skype or Zoom for audio and a video link. I use an interactive whiteboard that permits PDF/Power Point slides and electronic documents to be used during lessons. A PDF of all the pages is downloaded for students to help them with note taking and as for revision in the future. Additional help sheets and practice questions can be supplied to help with developing learning and exam technique. I develop the student's learning experience at school and provide additional resources and practice questions. My students are encouraged to develop their knowledge and an appreciation of what examiners require by developing their assessment for learning skills. I enjoy tutoring and my students have all benefited enormously from individualised support in preparation for their examinations. Tutees enjoy their tutorial style lessons which are normally 1 hour in duration, but longer times can be arranged if required. Group tuition can be arranged and a sliding scale for the tuition fee will be applied depending on the number of students involved.
